Below you can find some recipes I tried out during the quarantine. Some recipes may have been altered by yours truly. I don't have my pictures for all recipes!
1. Cream 1 cup of softened butter, 1 cup of white sugar and 1 cup of brown sugar until it's smooth.
2. Add 2 eggs, one at a time and then stir 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract.
3. Add 1 teaspoon of baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
4. Then add 3 cups of flour and 2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips.
5. Preheat the oven at 175 degrees celcius and let it bake for 10 minutes.
Nicole's tip: go easy on the salt!
1. Beat 1 egg, 1 teaspoon of vanilla and 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon.
2. Dip the bread on the mixture, soak both sides evenly.
3. Cook the slice of bread on a pan until it's golden-brown.
4. Rinse and repeat!
Nicole's tip: be generous with the cinnamon! It also tastes great with chocolate hazelnut spread.
1. Pour 400ml of milk and 2 cups of frozen berries in a blender and blend until the berries are cut into small pieces.
2. Add 1 tablespoon of chocolate hazel-nut spread, 1 tablespoon of peanut butter and 1 tablspoon f protein powder to the blender. Mix until everything is homogenous.
3. Pour everything into a bowl and add toppings such as: banana slices, stawberry slices, granola, chia seeds and/or semi-sweet chocolate chips.
Nicole's tip: it's my own recipe and the measurements aren't as precise!
1. Turn on medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of butter to your medium-sized pot.
2. Slowly add on 1 can of sweetened condensed milk and 3 tablespoons of chocolate powder.
3. Stir until you can see the bottom of the pan.
4. Let it cool down in the refrigerator and roll it into small balls.
Nicole's tip: add sprinkles for better taste and presentation! also, never stop stirring!
